Spoken Word Night – November 20th
It’s our second spoken word night at the bookshop!
Entrance is pay-what-you-can, tickets are free but getting one online gives us a better feel for numbers and aren’t required for entry.
Last month was such a lovely night, thank you to everyone who made it along! This time around, we have two more excellent headliners for you Colin McGuire and Flora Leask Arizpe, and eight open mic slots.
We’re changing how the open mic works, just let us know if you want to read on the door! First come, first served, doors will be open from 18:45.
Entrance is pay-what-you-can, tickets are free but getting one gives us a better feel for numbers aren’t required (but don’t guarantee entry).
Colin McGuire is a poet, writer and performer from Glasgow, living in Leith. He won the Outspoken prize for poetry and film-poem in 2018 and was a 2020 Ignite Fellow with the Scottish Book Trust. He has just finished writing his next full collection.
